Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Skelly collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep it short because we think you should actually read it.

What We Collect

Account info. When you sign in with GitHub, we get your username, email, and avatar. We never see your GitHub password.

Your content. Specifications, proposals, and anything else you create in Skelly, including AI-generated output you requested.

Usage data. How you use the service — AI credit consumption, feature usage, interaction patterns. We use this to run and improve Skelly.

Payments. Stripe handles all payment processing. We never store card numbers. We keep your Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing history.

How We Use It

We use your information to run the service, process payments, send transactional emails (receipts, account notices), improve Skelly, and respond to support requests. That's it.

AI and Your Data

When you use AI features, your content is sent to Anthropic for processing. This is how we generate specs and code. We don't use your content to train AI models, and our contract with Anthropic prohibits them from doing so either.

Where We Store It

Your data lives on servers in the United States. Specification content is stored in Cloudflare R2. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We take reasonable measures to keep your data secure, but no system is perfect.

Who We Share With

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the services that make Skelly work: Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI), Cloudflare (storage), and Render (hosting). We'll also share data if the law requires it.

Your Rights

You can view, update, or delete your account from the Account page. You can export your specifications anytime. If you want your account fully deleted, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your theme preference. No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll let you know by email or through the service.
