Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026This policy explains what skelly collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep it short because we think you should actually read it.
What we collect
Account info. When you sign in with GitHub we get your username, email and avatar. We never see your GitHub password.
Your projects. The repositories you connect, and what skelly makes for them: stories, tests, changes, and the project's thread, with what you say in it.
Usage. How much AI each story and each of the lead's answers uses, and what it is estimated to cost, plus how skelly is used. We use this to run skelly, to show you your Usage page, and to improve the service.
This website. skelly.ai uses Plausible for simple, cookie-free visit counts. It doesn't identify you.
How we use it
To run skelly, send you its emails (each project's morning standup, a note if a run leaves a story stuck, and a heads-up when spending nears or passes a budget), keep your account secure, answer support requests, and improve the service. That's it.
AI and your code
To do the work, skelly sends the parts of your code and project it needs to Anthropic, which runs Claude. We don't use your content to train AI models, and Anthropic doesn't train on it under the terms we use it with.
Where we store it
Your data is stored in the United States. Everything is encrypted in transit. We take reasonable measures to keep it secure, but no system is perfect.
Your choices
You can remove skelly's access to any repository in GitHub at any time. To get a copy of your data, or to have your account deleted, email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Cookies
The app uses a few cookies to keep you signed in, remember which workspace you're looking at, and protect sign-in. No advertising or tracking cookies. This website sets none.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll let you know by email or in skelly.
